Prayer Ministry
We use affirmative prayer, which can be described as a method of prayer that is rooted in gratitude and oneness with the Universal Spirit. There are multiple ways to get prayer from our ministers and practitioners. See below for details.
Sunday Practitioners
A practitioner is available every Sunday to provide information and guidance about spiritual treatment. This person is available after our Sunday Morning Celebrations.
To make an appointment with a practitioner, please call us at: 818-508-7171

Music Ministry
The Music Ministry at the Global Truth Center LA has evolved into something special and unique among Centers for Spiritual Living. While most Centers have music as a brief highlight of their Sunday service, the Global Truth Center LA, under the visionary leadership of Dr. James Mellon, has embraced music as an integral element within the message of the service itself.
Our vision is to intertwine music and message so as a heart-opening, and uplifting expression of Spirit.

Arts Ministry
Through the talents and consciousness of many of our members, Global Truth Center LA enhances its service to our community through the arts, furthering the practice of living the philosophy, faith, and way of life found in the many spiritual books by Dr. Ernest Homes and other New Thought authors.

Youth Ministry
If you have children, Global Truth Center LA is a great place for youth of all ages. We offer special programs for our GloYos, every Sunday morning during celebration. Our intention is to provide the children with stimulating themes that relate to what Dr. James is talking about in the service. That gives parent and child a forum for expansive conversations on the way home.

Teen Group
GTC's Teens have a very keen sense of who they are and what they are doing in this world. Most have come up through our GloYos program and have used the Science of Mind principles and tools in their daily lives. These bright teens endeavor to support each other through our weekly Teen Group, meeting on Sunday alongside the entire congregation. They spend valuable time participating in workshops, attending summer and winter camp and volunteering for worthy causes such as Casa Guatemala (working with underprivileged children in the rain forest).

Outreach
With Marcy Welland at the helm, the goal of the Outreach program here at Global Truth Center LA is to share, give and participate in our worldwide community! Last year, the community came together to build 18 homes in Nepal after the massive 2015 earthquake, led by Lori Savage. We sent a team to Santa Clarita to work with Habitat for Humanity, led by Jen O'Neal. For the second year in a row, we sent a GTC team to Guatemala to work at an orphanage, led by Scott Anderson, by planting crops, helping with building and plumbing repairs, sharing our spirit and making friends with the beautiful children of Casa Guatemala. Each year we conduct a holiday toy drive for the children of The Laurel Foundation.
We look forward to new opportunities for us to continue to expand our reach into the world!
